CLASSES

Lindy Hop
Lindy Hop is playful, joyful, and full of surprises. Born in Harlem, NYC in the 1930s, it’s danced with a partner and feels like a conversation in rhythm — full of swing, bounce, and connection. Some moves feel smooth, others feel wild — but the music is always what leads.

Solo Jazz
Solo Jazz is rhythm made visible. Danced without a partner, it lets you explore classic footwork, improvisation, and your own musicality — connecting movement to every sound in the band.

Charleston
Charleston is fast, rhythmic, and full of character. Danced solo or with a partner, it’s packed with high energy and crisp footwork. One of the most iconic dances of the jazz age, it brings a sense of joy and freedom to every beat — and invites you to
make it your own.

Blues
Blues is often slow, always soulful. Rooted in African American music and culture, it’s about connection — to yourself, your partner, and the groove. It invites expression, introspection, and presence.

Balboa

Is smooth, elegant, and full of rhythm. A subtle swing dance that emerged in Southern California in the 1930s, perfect for fast tempos and tight spaces. Danced in close embrace, it’s known for its fast footwork and quiet intensity — a calm surface with lots going on underneath.

Collegiate Shag
Collegiate Shag is pure fun on fast feet. It’s a high-energy partner dance packed with rhythm, kicks, and good vibes — perfect for big band tunes and anyone who wants to feel the beat and sweat a little.

Tap
Tap is where your feet become your instrument. You don’t just move to the beat — you make the beat. Like a dancing drummer or a body percussionist, you use rhythm to express yourself with clarity and creativity. It’s a groove-driven, meditative practice that’s as challenging as it is fun.
