A STUDIO FOR ART

The Hop officially opened on October 27, 2012 by Oat Naviroj, a swing dance teacher who wanted to establish a home for the Bangkok Swing community.

The vision of The Hop ultimately evolved to be a place where art can thrive without boundaries. The vintage studio warmly welcomes anyone to hold exhibitions, workshops, classes, or other activities related to the spirit of The Hop.

At the same time, art workshops, classes, and social events are held regularly at the studio for anyone to pursue some form of art as a hobby. We hope you will come to explore, develop, and share your passion at The Hop with us!

   -
Nope, we usually switch and rotate partners for each song.  You'll meet a bunch of new people in the process!

 Do I need experience?

    - Nope, we were all beginners once as well.  As long as you can walk, you can dance!

What should I wear?

   - Wear something comfortable.  Sneakers and flats are the best options for shoe. Stay away from slippers or high heals.
